Another school year has started and I must admit I had a lot of apprehensions on taking on this new challenge in my life as a teacher. Reality really bites but I know that my life would be easier if I would learn to accept wholeheartedly this new mission.
Last year was my first time to initiate and integrate blogging in my English II class; however, as time passed and as many requirements from different subjects piled up, my students hardly found time to respond to the blogs that I have posted. I perfectly understand. Being an Assumptionist is not easy, but being one is a fulfillment, a blessing.
And so, for my second attempt to integrate technology with my literature lessons, I promise to never give up in motivating my students to share their views and insights about the literary texts discussed in class every week in the form that is closest to my students' heart now--blogging. I hope my Year IV students would appreciate this effort and find meaning in this worthwhile activity.
God bless us all.
